Adaldrida Brandybuck (nee Bolger) is the grandmother of Primula Brandybuck and Rorimac Brandybuck, great-grandmother of Saradoc Brandybuck and Frodo Baggins and the great-great grandmother of Merry Brandybuck. She was also the Mistress of Buckland as her husband was the Master.
In storyline, she was born as the daughter of Gundahar Bolger and Dina Diggle. She had one sibling, an older brother called Adalgar. They had four children with Marmadoc Brandybuck: two were girls and two were boys, Orgulas and Gorbadoc.

She was also called "The Fat" due to her immense size (similar to Bombur from The Hobbit)

The Took family is a renowned Hobbit family in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. They were known to be adventurers and trouble makers. However, the Patriarch of the family was made Thain of the Shire. Pippin Took and Gerontius Took were prominent members. Notable members descended from the line included Merry Brandybuck (through his mother Esmeralda, and maternal uncle Paladin) Bilbo Baggins (through his mother Belladonna), Frodo Baggins and Primula Brandybuck (through her Primula's mother Mirabella Took).

Bandobras "Bullroarer" Took[]
Bandobras "Bullroarer" Took was the younger brother of Ferumbras Took II, and great-great-uncle of Belladonna Took and great-great-great-uncle of Bilbo Baggins. Bandobras was famous for averting a goblin invasion of the Shire at the Battle of Greenfields of T.A. 2747, and personally slaying the goblins' leader, Golfimbul. He took the Golfimbul's head off with a club. According to a legend, the goblin's head flew through the air for 100 yards and went down a rabbit hole; it is said that this is how the game of golf was invented.
Nothing is known about Bandobras' family, other than he had "many descendants", some of whom were the North Tooks of Long Cleeve.
One of his descendants was presumably Diamond of Long-cleeve, who was Pippin's wife in later life.

Diamond Took is a minor character in The Lord of the Rings, appearing in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
Diamond Took was the wife of Pippin Took, thirty-second Thain of the Shire and a veteran of the War of the Ring. She and Pippin met at Rosie and Sam's wedding in Return of the King extended edition. After the War of the Ring, Diamond and Pippin married and had a son together, Faramir.
Donnamira Took[]
Donnamira Boffin (née Took) is the aunt of Bilbo Baggins and great-aunt of Frodo Baggins. Donnamira the tenth of Adamanta and Gerontius "Old" Took's many children, born in S.R. 1256. She had eleven other siblings: Isengrim, Hildigard, Isumbras, Hildigrim, Isembold, Hildifons, Isembard, Hildibrand, Belladonna, Mirabella and Isengar. Donnamira married Hugo Boffin and had two children: a son named Jago and a daughter named Jessamine.

Esmeralda Took is the youngest child of Adalgrim Took and sister of Paladin Took. Esmeralda was the mother of Merry and wife of Saradoc Brandybuck
Everard Took[]
Everard Took was one of the four children of Adelard Took. He had one sibling a brother named Reginard. He was born SR 1380 and one of the 144 guests at Bilbo's farewell party.
Faramir Took[]
Faramir Took is the son of Pippin Took and Diamond of Long-cleeve. He is the grandson of Paladin Took and Eglantine Banks and the nephew of Pearl, Pervinca and Pimpernel. In story-line, Faramir was born FO 10 and was named after Faramir, his namesake being a friend of Pippin Took. [1] He became the Thain of the Shire in FO 63 and married Goldilocks Gamgee. It is unknown if they had any children.

Ferdibrand Took was the son of Ferdinand Took, born S.R. 1383. He was one of the 1444 guests at Bilbo's farewell party.

Ferdinand was the son of Sigismond Tookborn S.R. 1340, a year before the quest of Erebor. . He was the father of Ferdibrand and they were one of the 144 guests who attended their cousin, Bilbo Baggins' Farewell Party in S.R. 1401.

Ferumbras Took I was an ancestor of Bilbo Baggins and Gerontius Took.
Ferumbras Took II[]
Ferumbras Took II is the son of Isumbras Took III, older brother of Bandobras Took and father of Fortinbras. He passed thainship over to his only son Fortinbras I. His fame was outshone by Bandobras, who was famous for winning the Battle of Greenfields.
Ferumbras Took III[]
Ferumbras Took was the son of Thain Fortinbras II and Lalia Clayhanger, born SR 1316. After his father's death, Ferumbras became Thain of the Shire. Since Ferumbras he remained unmarried and had no children, Thainship passed to his second cousin, Paladin.
Flambard Took[]
Flambard Took is the son of Isembard Took, the father of Adelard Took and grandfather of Reginard Took, Everard Took. He was born in SR 1287 and passed at the age of 102 in SR 1389
Fortinbras Took I[]
Fortinbras Took I is the Twenty-fifth Thain of the Shire. He is the son of Ferumbras Took II, father of Gerontius Took, great-grandfather of Belladonna Took (Bilbo's mother), Mirabella Brandybuck (Frodo's grandmother), Isengrim Took (Merry and Pippin's great-grandfather) and Gerontius' eight other children.
He was also the great-grandfather of Bilbo Baggins and Primula Baggins, great-great-Grandfather of Frodo Baggins and great-great-great-grandfather of Merry, Pippin, and Estella Brandybuck
Fortinbras was born SR 1145 (TA 2745). He ruled the Shire from SR 1201 - 1248. Married to an unnamed woman, Fortinbras Took I had a son, Gerontius Took. He passed on in SR 1248 at the age of 103. His son, Gerontius took over as Thain.
Fortinbras Took II[]
Fortinbras Took II was born SR 1278 to Isumbras Took named after his paternal great-great grandmother and was first cousins with Bilbo Baggins and Primula Brandybuck. He had no siblings and his mother's name is unknown. He married Lalia Clayhanger and had a son named Ferumbras III.
Fortinbras ruled as Thain of the Shire for forty-one years and was eventually succeeded by Ferumbras and his wife, Lalia, remained head of the Took clan. Thainship never passed to Fortinbras' grandson but rather his distant cousin, Paladin Took.
Gerontius "The Old" Took[]
Gerontius Took was the only child and son of Fortinbras Took I. He was born in SR 1190 (TA 2790). Gerontius was the twenty-sxth Thain of the Shire [2] and a good friend of Gandalf, who gave him a pair of magic diamond studs and often performed fireworks during Gerontius' midsummer-eve parties
In the Middle-Earth Films, Gerontius is portrayed by Dan Henna in the extended edition of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

Hildibrand Took was born and raised near the Great Smials in Tuckborough. He was born to Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb. He had eleven siblings: Isengrim, Hildigard, Isumbras, Hildigrim, Isembold, Hildifons, Isembard, Belladonna, Donnamira, Mirabella and Isengar.
He had one son, Sigismond, born in S.R. 1290 and was the paternal great-grandfather of Estella Bolger.

Hildifons Took was a Hobbit of the Shire.
Hildifons was born S.R. 1244 as the son of Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb and had eleven children: Isengrim, Hildigard, Isumbras, Hildigrim, Isembold, Isembard, Hildibrand, Belladonna, Donnamira, Mirabella and Isengar. He disappeared and never returned from his adventure.

Hildirim Took was the third son of the Old Took and Adamanta Chubb, older brother of Belladonna Baggins and Mirabella Brandybuck, nee Took, uncle of Primula Brandybuck and Bilbo Baggins,great-uncle of Frodo Baggins.
Hildigrim Took was born SR 1240 as the fourth-born child of Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb. Having eleven children, he had seven brothers: Isengrim, Hildigard, Isumbras, Isembold, Hildifons, Isembard, Hildibrand, and Isengar and four sistsers: Hildigard (who died young), Belladonna, Donnamira, and Mirabella. Isengar later met and married Rosa Baggins. Together, they had one son, named Adalgrim.
Hildigrim became a grandfather when Adalgrim had four children: Paladin, Esmeralda and two other granddaughters. He later became the great-grandfather of Pippin, Merry, Pearl, Pervinca and Pimprnel and great-great-grandfather of Faramir Took and passed at SR 1341, the same year that Bilbo left for Erebor with Thorin and Company

Isembard Took was born and raised near the Great Smials in Tuckborough in S.R. 1247 to Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb. He had eleven siblings: Isengrim, Hildigard, Isumbras, Hildigrim, Isembold, Hildifons, Hildibrand, Belladonna, Donnamira, Mirabella and Isengar. He married an unnamed woman, who had one child, a son named Flambard
He passed at the age of 99 in S.R. 1346
Isengar Took[]
Isengar Took is one of the twelve children of Gerontius "the Old" Took and Adamanta Chubb and the uncle of Bilbo Baggins and great Uncle of Frodo Baggins and great-great-uncle of Merry Brandybuck and Pippin Took
He had been born in SR 1262 and already had eleven older siblings. He saw the sea in his youth. Unlike his brother, Hildifons, he did not mysteriously disappear and passed away at the age of ninety eight.

Isembold Took is the brother of Hildigrim, Mirabella and Belladonna Took and uncle of Bilbo Baggins, great-uncle of Frodo Baggins and great-great-uncle of Pippin Took, Merry Brandybuck, Estella Bolger, and Pippin's sisters.
Isembold was born SR 1242 to Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb and was their fifth child. He had eleven other siblings: Isengrim, Hildigard, Isumbras, Hildigrim, Hildifons, Isembard, Hildibrand, Belladonna, Donnamira, Mirabella and Isengar. Isembold married an unnamed woman and had many children, grandchildren and other descendants. However, his wife and children's names are unknown. He passed away at 103 in S.R. 1346

Isengrim Took I is an ancestor of the Took families. He is a direct ancestor of Bilbo Baggins, Pippin Took, Frodo Baggins, and Merry Brandybuck.
Isengrim Took II[]
Isengrim Took II is the twenty second known Thain of the Shire, father of Isumbras Took III, grandfather of Ferumbras Took II and Bandobras "Bullroarer" Took, Great-grandfather of Fortinbras Took I and great-great-grandfather of Gerontius Took.
Isengrim Took was born in Third Age 2683 and became Thain after the Brandybuck clan. He established his seat at the Great Smials. He established the Shire Reckoning, which would always would always begin in Sterday (which is Saturday but will be our Monday)
The Thainship passed on to his son, Isumbras Took III.

Isengrim Took III[]
The eldest son of the Old Took, Isengrim's rule was noticeably short. He was already near his nineties when he became Thain, and died ten years later. As he had no children of his own, his brother Isumbras became the new Thain.
Isumbras Took I[]
Isumbras Took was an ancestor of Bilbo and one of the Thains of the Shire after Gorhendad Oldbuck relocated to Buckland. He had four namesakes.
Isumbras Took II[]
He was born between S.R. 1 and S.R. 1101and one of the thains from the 740-1083 year gape and named after his paternal ancestor and had two namesakes afterwards

Isumbras Took III was the Twenty Third known Thain of the Shire, son of Isengrim Took II, and father of Ferumbras and Bandobras Took and grandfather of Fortinbras Took I.
Isumbras Took IV[]
Isumbras Took IV was the twenty-eighth Thain of the Shire and the maternal Uncle of Bilbo Baggins
Isumbras IV was born SR 1232 to Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb. He had eleven other siblings: Isengrim, Hildigard, Hildigrim, Isembold, Hildifons, Isembard, Hildibrand, Belladonna, Donnamira, Mirabella and Isengar. He inherited the title Thain upon the death of his older brother, Isengrim III. Due to his father's longevity, Isumbras TV's reign lasted short for nine years, ruling from S.R. 1330 to 1339. Isumbras passed that year, two years before Bilbo went on the quest to reclaim Erebor.
Mirabella Took[]
Mirabella Brandybuck (nee Took) was the youngest daughter of Gerontius Took and Adamanta Chubb. She was born S.R. 1260 and passed at the age of one-hundred. She had ten older siblings, which included eight older brothers (Isengrim, Isumbras, Hildigrim, Isembold, Hildifons, Isembard, Hildibrand), three older sisters, Hildigard, Belladonna, and Donnamira and one younger sibling, a brother named Isengar. She married Gorbadoc Brandybuck and had six children: Rorimac, Amaranth, Saradas, Dodinas, Asphodel, Dinodas and Primula. She married Gorbadoc Brandybuck and had six children: Rorimac, Amaranth, Saradas, Dodinas, Asphodel, Dinodas and Primula. She is became the grandmother of Frodo Baggins and the great-grandmother of Merry Brandybuck.
Mirabella passed away in S.R. 1360.
Paladin Took[]
Paladin Took was the father of Pippin, Pearl, Pervinca and Pimpernel. He became the Thain after his cousin, Ferumbras passed in SR 1415.
Pearl Took[]
Pearl Took was the eldest of four children of Paladin Took II and Eglantine Banks, born S.R. 1375. She was supposedly the care-taker of Lalia the Fat, the unlikable matriarch of the Took Family and was excluded from the accession ceremony of Ferumbras. However, she was spotted having necklace of pearls that was a Took family heirloom.

Reginard Took was the only child of Adelard Took and had a brother named Everard. They were one of the 144 guests at Bilbo's party.
