Garth Ranzz, also known as Live Wire and Lightning Lad, is a superhero appearing in media published by DC Comics. He is a hero from the 31st century,  and one of the founding members of the Legion of Super-Heroes. He has electrokinesis, the ability to generate electricity.

Garth Ranzz 9as Lightning Lad) appears in a non-speaking cameo in "New Kids in Town" (an episode of Superman: The Animated Series). He also appears in the Justice League Unlimited episode "Far from Home."

In the 2006 short-lived animated series, Legion of Super-Heroes, Lightning Lad appears and is voiced by Andy Milder

Smallville[]

Garth Ranzz makes his live-action debut in the Smallville episode "Legion."

Garth appears in Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Cosmic Clash, voiced again by Andy Milder. He also makes a non-speaking cameo in the films Legion of Super-Heroes and Scooby-Doo! and Krypto Too!.

He appears in Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure and Injustic 2.
