At first they aren't trusting towards each other because of them being Members of a rival pack, the McCalls versus the chimeras.
Season 6[]
Even after the Dread Doctors and the best were taken care of, Liam and Corey still distrust each other until they realized it was mostly due to them feeling like Mason was torn between choosing them. Eventually, Liam decided to let go of his anger towards Corey and developed a friendship with him for Mason. They found information on Jake Sullivan being taken from the Ghost Riders after they both went into the invisible plane. Despite the seriousness of their current situation, Liam looks over at Corey with a small proud smile.
From then on, Liam and Corey grew to become good friends and allies, working together in order to use Corey's power of adaptive camouflage to learn more about the Ghost Riders of the Wild Hunt.
Corey was also supportive of Liam after his breakup with Hayden when she moved to another town to protect her sister.
