Lewis McCartney is the overarching deuteragonist of the Australian series H2O: Just Add Water. He is a human boy who is childhood friends with Cleo Sertori since they were five. Lewis is always looking for a scientific explanation as to why the girls are mermaids. However, over time, he learns that science and magic do not mix, but he does help the girls.
