Lavender Brown is a supporting character in the Harry Potter franchise, both appearing in the books and the films.
She is Ron's former love interest and former girlfriend and the best friend of Parvati Patil. Lavender was also highly supportive of her teacher, Sybill Trelawney, and took divination seriously. As such, Lavender hated it whenever someone insulted her favorite teacher.
