Lady Shiva (real name Sandra Wu-San ) is a villain in Batman and Birds of Prey .
She is an on/off enemy of Bruce Wayne and the mother and arch-enemy of the superheroine Cassandra Cain , also known as Batgirl. This extends to the Birds of Prey (Black Canary, Huntress and Batgirl), Nightwing, Robin, and the Green Arrow.
Lady Shiva is a ruthless and cunning supervillain is the fact she can predict all of her opponents' movements through body language. However, Shiva loves her sister and her daughter (in her own twisted way).
She also taught Tim Drake in hand to hand combat and, despite being enemies, considers him to be one of her best students.
