Lady Boreal is the queen of the Northern Lights the overarching protagonist of the special Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July. She punished Winterbolt for a thousand years' sleep because of his cruel nature and he would remain so as long as she was human. She's also responsible for making Rudolph's nose glow red by storing some of her powers in his nose.

History[]

Visiting Rudolph[]

After Winterbolt woke from his one-hundred year sleep, Lady Boreal placed some of her powers inside of Rudolph's nose. As long as he remained heroic, his nose would always glow. If he used his nose for evil, the magic will fade away. She later reverted back into the Aurora Borealis.

Contacting Rudolph Again[]

Later on in the movie, Lady Boreal is heard from again, only this time in the form of the Northern Lights. She tells Rudolph if he want his magic back, he must be brave in the face of danger, after which it will glow again.
