Kronos is the overarching antagonist of the 2010 remake of Clash of the Titans and the main antagonist of Wrath of the Titans.
He is the Titan of Time and Evil, the father of Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, the grandfather of Perseus, Ares, and Agenor and great-grandfather of Helius.

Background[]
Kronos was the ruler of the of the universe and the Titan of Time and Evil after destroying his own father, Ouranos. However, the Titan was fearful of a prophecy that one of his children will overthrow him. Kronos consumed his five eldest children despite Rhea's pleas not to. However, his greed and arrogance was too powerful than his love for her. After Rhea hid the youngest, Zeus, who rescued his siblings. Zeus poured an extremely powerful emetic (made from nectar mixed with mustard) into Kronos' goblet, which caused the Titan King to gorge all of the contents of his stomach, in reverse order of swallowing: first Poseidon, to Hades, Hera, Demeter and Hestia.
In time, Zeus, Poseidon and Hades rebelled against their father and their Titanic relatives. Hades created the Kraken, a beast so powerful it could defeat the Titans. The brothers sought help from Hera's son Hephaestus into making the ultimate weapon they needed to defeat their parents. The fallen god forged Zeus' Master Built, Hades' pitchfork and Poseidon's Trident to forge the Spear of Triam, the only thing capable of destroying him. However, the brothers found it to drastic. Instead they imprisoned him in Tartarus, the deepest and darkest parts of the Underworld.
In the aftermath of Kronos' defeat, Zeus became the Lord of the Skies, Poseidon was given the Seas and Hades was tricked by his youngest brother to become the Lord of the underworld in darkness and misery. Feeling betrayed by Zeus, Hades plotted his revenge while he was forced to keep watch over the Underworld and keep their father in his prison.
Clash of the Titans (2010)[]
Io reveals that the Kraken was able to defeat the Titans, including Kronos. Eusebios claimed that the Titans were later defeated in Stygia, where the kraken laid waste to the ancient civilization. It is where the three witches lived.
