Sergeant Kristen "Kris" Kramer is a supporting character in The Flash. She is a member of the Governor's Municipal Logistics Commission, a good friend of Joe West and the captain of the Central City Police Department. She is also a former Army intelligence officer who was later revealed to be a meta-human with the power to mimic other meta-powers.
As of Season 8, she is one of the few officers in CCPD who is aware that Barry Allen and The Flash are the same person.
Biography[]
Kristen Kramer grew up on a native American community, where she met Adam Creyke. They each other's support systems because they weren't very popular in their community. She joined the United States Army and went on two tours on a Kahndaq battlefield.
While both in the army, Adam sold Kristen's unit off her. He didn't want her to get hurt, he just tried to talk her out of going on the mission the night before, but he got the two of them arguing. The next day, the unit was ambushed and 12 soldiers were killed. However at some point, Kristen became a Metahuman herself throughout unknown means. It is implied by Adam Crayke told her during the latest confrontation that she has powers since that was the "day Kristen Kramer died." In truth, she copied Adam's accelerated healing powers, allowing her to heal from an explosion that killed her entire team. This led Kristen to hate meta-humans intending to be heroes. She believes that like Cicada that all metas are monsters.
Half of her file in the DOD database was redacted. She later became a member of the Governor's Municipal Logistics Commission and her job required her to visit Gotham City multiple times
Chasing Killer Frost[]
Sometime in mid-2020, Kristen visited the Central City Police Department at the request of the governor. At Joe's office, she met Captain Joe West and his daughter, Iris. She revealed to Joe West that she was looking for a metahuman, first showing him picture of the Flash. Joe thought that she came for him, with the latter unaware that the Flash was actually his foster son and Iris' husband, Barry Allen.
Powers and Abilities[]
Metahuman Physiology: Her DNA was altered and her cells supercharged, augmenting her physiology access her new abilities. Since she is copying other powers, her DNA is always shifting and changing, allowing her to short out meta-dampening technology. With help from Barry Allen/The Flash, Kristen learned how to better understand her powers.
- Power mimicry: Kristen is able to copy the meta-powers of other metahumans. However this only works in high-stress situations around other metas, as seen when she and the entire precinct were held captive by Goldface's crew.
- Accelerated Healing: power she copied from Adam Crayke. Kristen copied Adam's accelerated healing powers, allowing her to heal from an explosion that killed her entire team.
- Heat touch: Powers Kristen Kramer copied from a heat meta. Kristen mentioned to Barry Allen that one day she ordered an iced coffee and was able to boil the drink with her hands due to the fact that the barista who made it was a meta with the ability to do so.
- Godspeed's powers: Kristen temporarily copied a Godspeed clone.
- Superhuman Speed: Kristen was granted his super speed.
- Electrokinesis: When she ran, Kristen could generate white lightning.
- Gold Manipulation: Copied via Keith/Goldface. She was able to control his gold chain long enough for him to be apprehended by the Flash.
