King Peppy is a supporting character in DreamWorks' Trolls franchise. He is a king troll who is Poppy's and Viva's father and the former King of the Pop Trolls.
King Peppy and his wife had two children, Viva and Poppy. However, they lost their eldest daughter, Viva at some point prior to the series, when she disappeared. When no one could find Princess Viva, his youngest daughter became next in line for the throne. It is unknown what happened to his wife but it is shown that she is deceased.
Personality[]
Peppy is revered by his subjects as the fatherly and wise king. He is also a loving father to his daughter, Poppy despite the loss of Viva (until she turns up alive in the threequel. He is also brave as he was willing to risk his own life to save several Trolls, even standing up to a Bergen named Chef.

When helping prepare Gristle for his upcoming marriage / wedding to Bridget, Peppy is confronted by Poppy, who demands to know answers about a sister he never told her about. However, Peppy lies to her. He later confided to Mr. Dinkles about his guilt of losing Viva, but the worm just gives him a look for keeping it a secret about having another daughter.
Peppy reunited with Viva at the end of the film and he reconciled with both of his daughters.
