King Harrow is one of the two overarching protagonists of the first arc of the animated web series The Dragon Prince (alongside Queen Zubeia).
He was the King of Katolis, the husband of Queen Sarai, the adoptive father[1]of Callum, and the father of Ezran. He also held contempt for Avizandum, who killed Sarai and Harrow in turn killed Avizandum for his wife's death. This causes the war to escalate between Xadia and the Pentarchy.

During the celebration of establishing peace between Xadia and the Pentarchy, Corvus played a song, "A Song of Love and Loss" on his cello that was symbolic for Ezran's speech on peace, anger and forgiveness. During the song, Callum was reminded of his step-father, and lit a candle, placing it at the foot of Harrow's tomb.[2]

In a fever dream induced by dark magic, Viren encounters Harrow. Harrow expresses remorse to the kneeling Viren for his cruelty during their last moments together, embracing him and revealing that he has always regarded the High Mage as a brother. Viren gradually reciprocates the embrace, stating that he acted as he did to demonstrate his significance to Harrow. Harrow concurs, adding that Viren's soul is his most valued possession. Viren is taken aback by this declaration, but his attention is diverted by the shrill cry of Pip. Upon turning back to Harrow, Viren witnesses his former king brandishing the relic staff. Harrow then employs the staff along with a dark magic incantation to ensnare Viren's soul.[3]
When Claudia confronted Callum and Ezran at the bottom of the sea looking for Aaravos' prison, she revealed that she was trying to free Aaravos because he was the only one who could save her father. She also told them that they would do anything for King Harrow, if their roles were reversed. At the mention of their father, Callum and Ezran held an expression that clearly stated they would have. However, Claudia's appeal that they could save both their fathers failed when the boys refused.[4]

- Killed Avizandum out of revenge for his wife's death. Avizandum was just trying to protect his land and then his unhatched child.
- Despite this bloodshed, Harrow realized the error of his ways when Moonshadow Elves came to assassinate the king and his son, Ezran.
- Loved his stepson Callum as if he were his son despite them being related only by marriage.
