Background[]
Bumi was one of the childhood best friends of Aang from the Earth Kingdom. Whenever Aang visited, he and Bumi would play on the Omashu's mailing system.
Sometime after Aang's disappearance and the start of the 100 Year War, Bumi became the King of Omashu and ruled for over a century.
Powers and Abilities[]
Powers[]
- Earthbending
- Mineral Manipulation: Using his Earthbending, Bumi is able to control and manipulate minerals, as they are made from the earth. In order to force Avatar Aang to complete his three challenges, King Bumi slid a jennamite ring on Katara and Sokka's finger, where the crystal immediately started growing. After Aang successfully guessed that Bumi was his old friend, Bumi used his Earthbending to remove the jennamite from Sokka and Katara's body before eating it, as the creeping crystal was also a final challenge for Bumi
