Trivia

  • Her name, like many in her family, is an allusion to the word "impossible". It is also a reference to the Mission: Impossible franchise.
  • Kim collects Cuddle Buddies, and cannot go to sleep without her Pandaroo, though she is not as obsessed about them as DNAmy is.
  • In the episode "Hidden Talent", Kim apparently is bad at singing. Ironically, Christy Carlson Romano is an accomplished singer herself.
  • She hates being called "Kimmy-Cub" in public by her father, as it was revealed in "The Truth Hurts".
  • She looks identical to her Aunt Miriam.
    • As everything in "Rewriting History" except for their waking at the end was a dream, "Aunt Mim" may not have been real.
  • Given her complaint towards Ron on how long it took him to kiss her, Kim may have had a crush on Ron since she was very little.
  • She unofficially appeared as a pop-cultural cameo in the 2004 Academy-Award nominated documentary film Super Size Me representing the "Gotta-Have-Em" toys for children on McDonalds Happy Meals. Coincidentally, the episode "Grande Size Me" was in turn, inspired by the film, perhaps as a reference to this.
  • Kim was initially going to be blond and have a much older appearance that was loosely based on Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle's assistant, Jessica. The designs were considered "too old and worldly".
  • In the live-action film, Kim is shown to be deathly afraid of electric eels. This is despite the fact that in the original cartoon the episode "Rufus in Show" reveals that electric eels do not even frighten her anyway, as evident via her reaction when Wade reminds her of the electric eels "The bad villain puns just write themselves. Shocking, isn't it?" However, this can be explained as the live-action film is a reboot.
  • Kim's character design changed slightly over the course of the series; originally in Season 1, she was drawn with smaller eyes and thicker eyebrows, but as of Season 2 onwards, she now had larger eyes and thinner eyebrows.
    • Kim's appearance in the Lilo & Stitch: The Series episode "Rufus" is drawn based on her Season 1 design, despite the fact that said crossover episode aired in 2005.
  • Kim often says "please and thank you" in place of "yes". In A Sitch in Time, it is revealed that this is what her parents always told her to say, and it was also intended that Kim originally misunderstood their words.
  • According to Chris Houghton, Kim is Cricket and Tilly Green's cousin.
  • The role was originally offered to actress Anneliese van der Pol, who turned it down in favor of co-starring as Chelsea Daniels in the Disney Channel Original Series That's so Raven.
  • Kim was voiced by Christy Carlson Romano, who also voiced Trina in Big Hero 6: The Series, another TV show created by Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley.
  • n the climax of So the Drama, after kicking Shego off the roof of Bueno Nacho HQ, the shot of a victorious Kim on said roof with lighting in the background is similar to how Batman does it in the opening of Batman: The Animated Series.
