Princess Kiara is the main protagonist of the sequel The Lion King II:  Simba's Pride and a supporting character in its Disney prequel series The Lion Guard. She is the daughter of Simba, and Nala and the sister of Kion, the mate of Kovu, the daughter-in-law of Zira, Mufasa, Sarabi and Sarafina's granddaughter, Scar's great-niece, and the sister-in-law of Rani, Nuka and Vitani.

Personality

As a child, Kiara was adventurous, caring, and friendly but was quite lonely who became fast friends with Kovu. Despite being on two different sides, they eventually fell in love with they were young adults. She initially had a strained relationship with Kion, only bragging that she wanted to be queen in his presence. However, Kiara and Kion manage to see common ground in "Can't Wait to Be Queen," essentially becoming closer. They also went on a retreat together with their mother, where their challenge was to work together to apparently save her. The challenge worked, allowing them to grow closer. In the final episodes of Season 3, Kiara encourages Kion to tell Rani and to one day return to the Tree of Life to be with her and tell her how he feels about her. Kiara is also very forgiving and caring, showing a sense of maturity by showing her father that they should not fight the outlanders because. She finally understood her father's saying, "We are one," despite everything, they were the same family.
