Background[]
When Ken Ichijouji was a young boy, he lived with his parents and older brother, Sam, but he changed after Sam's death, and attempted to rule the Digital World as the Digimon Emperor. But after his Digimon creation Kimeramon was destroyed and his Digimon partner Wormmon perished, he began to regret his actions greatly and believed that Digimon were living beings, just like humans. But when Wormmon was reborn, he and Wormmon decided to fight alongside the other Japanese DigiDestined against Arukenimon, Mummymon, BlackWarGreymon, Yukio Oikawa, and the presumed dead Myotismon.
