The Karathen is a major character in the 2018 film, Aquaman. She is a colossal, sentient ancient sea creature, and one of the most powerful beings on Earth.She was the guardian of the king Atlan's trident in the hidden sea

The character was portrayed by The legendary actress Julie Andrews, who also played Mary Poppins in the Disney film of the same name and Queen Clarisse Renaldi from the Princess diaries movies, and Marie in the based on the true story musical film, The Sound of Music.
