John Keller is a character in the 2007 film Transformers. During the time of the first movie he was the Secretary of Defense.

Biography[]

Background[]

Transformers (2007)[]

Keller briefed Pentagon techs that the Defense Network was targeted during the attack after the SOCCENT Forward Operations Base in Qatar was attacked by the Decepticons, Blackout and Scorponok. When Maggie started talking about the threat being extraterrestrial, John Keller refused to believe her unless she could actually present things that were true. He was later told by Tom Banachek that the threat of the Decepticons was very real.

At the end of the film, Keller, Maggie, Simmons and Glenn were able to save themselves when Frenzy took off his own head, killing himself in the process. Keller informed everyone that Sector Seven was officially disbanded. The remains of the Decepticons were disposed of by being thrown into the abyss of the Laurentian Abyss, which Keller said was the deepest place on the planet.

Post-Film[]

Sometime after the film, John Keller was most likely, no longer the Secretary of Defense.
