John Diggle is a supporting character in the recent Green Arrow comic book series. He is a former soldier of the U.S. military, becoming a member of Oliver Queen 's vigilante team as the Green Arrow. The character is an adaptation of John Diggle from the CW television series, Arrow. in the rebooted Prime Earth continuity, his first appearance in the New 52 DC Universe was in Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino's Green Arrow (Volume 5) #24 .
