Jazz is one of the protagonists of the 2007 film, Transformers .
He is one of the Autobots working under Optimus Prime.
He speaks in similar fashion with lingo that is only familiar on Earth, much to Sam's surprise when he first meets the Autobots. Fighting the Decepticons, Jazz protects the human race.
He was killed by Megatron during the final battle. Despite this, he is revived off-screen.
