Jarhanpurians are a powerful extraterrestrial species, originated from the destroyed planet Jarhanpur. In the histories of both Earth-38 and Earth-Prime, most of the Jarhanpurians who survived Jarhanpur's destruction decided to settle on Earth.

History[]

In the original timeline, the Jarhanpurians come from the dying world of Jarhanpur, which was destroyed through civil war. After their home was destroyed, Jarhanpurians came to Earth where their leader the Elder gave Rama Khan the title of "The Guardian of Earth". However he wasn't much of a protector because he believed that putting humanity through tragedy was the only way they would advance as a civilization.

Jarhanpurium was also eventually found on Earth, and like Kryptonite weakened Jarhanpurians.

In 2019-2020, the Jarhanpurians tried to wipe out humanity through a virtual reality called Obsidian Platinum. However, they were foiled by Supergirl and her teammates, the Superfriends. Their leader Gamemnae was killed by Supergirl with the Anti-With with the rest eventually bottled by Querl Dox/Brainiac 5.

Powers and abilities[]

Powers[]

  • Regeneration: The inhabitants of Jarhanpur exhibit an exceptionally powerful regenerative ability, enabling them to swiftly heal from nearly any injury. This remarkable healing capability effectively grants them a form of immortality.
  • Reconstitution: The regenerative capacity of the Jarhanpurians is remarkably powerful, enabling them to completely restore their bodies even after total destruction. Following the annihilation of Rama Khan, Tezumak, and Sela by Supergirl, the remnants of the Jarhanpurians' ashes reassembled into their original forms.
  • Extended longevity: The Jarhanpurians possess remarkable longevity, approaching immortality. The initial generation of Jarhanpurians who migrated to Earth remains alive in contemporary times, despite having arrived on the planet several million years ago.
  • Unique physiology: It seems that every individual from Jarhanpur possesses a distinct additional ability that, in some instances, can significantly influence their physical makeup. Rama Khan exhibits geokinesis, Gamemnae demonstrates technokinesis, Tezumak showcases pyrokinetic abilities, and Sela possesses electrokinetic powers.

Weaknesses[]

  • Jarhanpurium: Jarhanpurium is extremely lethal to Jarhanpurians, the only known material capable of rendering them mortal and powerless.
  • Technology: Except Gamemnae (due to her techno kinetic power, but still only to a limited degree), Jarhanpurians are susceptible to their technology and that of Coluans.

Known Jarhanpurians[]

  • Rama Khan
  • Gamemnae (deceased)
  • Tezumak
