Jadis the White Witch is the main antagonist of The Chronicles of Narnia franchise. She is the main antagonist of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe , a minor antagonist in Prince Caspian and Voyage of the Dawn Treader .
She seeks to destroy the Pevensie children, two sons of Adam and two daughters of Eve who will bring about her downfall.

In the UK version of the 1979 animated film, she was voiced by Sheila Hancock. In the US version, she was voiced Beth Porter.
In the BBC series, she was portrayed by Barbara Kellerman, who also played the Hag and the Lady of the Green Kirtle in the same series.
