Iron Spider (real name Amadeus Cho) is one of the tritagonists in Ultimate Spider-Man. He is a classmate of Peter Parker and Flash Thompson recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D. He uses the Iron Spider suit that Peter previously wore and becomes one of the S.H.I.E.L.D.'s latest recruits. He is also a member of the Web Warriors, the New Warriors and a student at the S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy. According to Nick Fury, Amadeus is the seventh-smartest individual of the world, behind M.O.D.O.K. and Leader. He is also only thirteen years old
