Iris is a minor character in the Camp Half Blood series who finally made her appearance in The Son of Neptune (the second book in the Heroes of Olympus series). She is a minor goddess of the rainbows and one of the two messenger gods, alongside Hermes. Iris has her own message network called "Iris Messaging" (the demigods' version of Instant Messaging).
