Princess Indira is one of Ariel's sisters and second oldest child of King Triton's seven daughters in the 2023 adaptation of The Little Mermaid (based on the original 1989 Disney film). She is the princess of Atlantica and the ruler of Brinedive Sea.
She is based on Alana from the original movie.

Personality[]
Indira is the most generous of all, leading with empathy, generosity, and virtue. She has already saved her subjects from a giant poisonous sea snake. She is also the closest to her sister, Caspia and they also affectionately calls Ariel "Little Fry".
Indira rules the Brinedive Sea. The waters of the gulf are shallow, sunny, and warm. Indira is skilled at diplomacy, working well with the ministers of her court. She is well informed about her kingdom and others, she is also an excellent debater. However, unlike Ariel, she despises humans like her father and sisters and they have grown distant since their mother's death. However, this presumably changes after Eric helped Ariel and they married after all.
Indira and Caspia are noted to be exceptionally close, and enjoy baiting Mala.
Physical Appearance[]
In mermaid physiology, the children born in the area inherit the characteristics of its native inhabitants. Indira was born in area where she has light brown skin, long, dark brown hair and yellow highlights. She has yellow and orange tail, bra and scales and flowing hair. She has brown stripes and yellow scale design, with it being fain around her mid-riff, arms and neck and shoulders.
