The Human Kingdoms, better known as as the Pentarchy, are the western parts of the continent and one of the main locations of The Dragon Prince.
History[]
The lands that would become known as the Human Kingdoms were much like Xadia; being rich in magic but when Luna Tenebris exiled humans to the west, due to their use of dark magic, they began seeking out magic through the plants and animals. They hunted most magical creatures to the brink of extinction during the Mage Wars such as Pegasi. However, some magicks still exist within the eastern parts of the continent such as; glow toads like Bait and Xadia birds like Pip have remained, the Moon nexus, Duren's most kept secret, a cavern filled with Fire Rubies used for Aanya's arrows, etc.
A thousand year war between both kingdoms finally came to an end when King Ezran and Prince Callum of Katolis and Moonshadow Elf Rayla returned Zym to his mother and the second defeat of Aaravos. As of Season 7, it and Xadia are one again.
Locations[]
Much like Xadia, the Human Kingdoms are divided into territories that are each ruled by a king and queen.
- Duren - ruled by Queen Aanya; formerly by her mothers Queens Annika and Neha. Rich in Fire Rubies found in the cavern below
- Katolis - ruled by King Ezran and it's Prince is his half-brother, Prince Callum; formerly ruled by their parents, King Harrow and Queen Sarai, their grandfather Atticus and the Orphan Queen
- Neolandia - ruled by King Ahling; formerly by Prince Kasef during his father's coma.
- Evenere - previously ruled by Queen Fareeda
- Del Bar - ruled previously by King Florian
