Holga Kilgore is the deuteragonist of the 2023 fantasy/heist film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, based on the role-playing game of the same name and a reboot of the original Dungeons & Dragons film series.
She is Edgin Darvis' best friend as well as a human barbarian who was exiled from her clan because of her relationship with a halfling. Likewise, she is a fellow adventurer of Edgin, Simon Aumar, Doric, and Xenk Yendar.
She was portrayed by Michelle Rodriguez.
Personality[]
Holga is recognized for her fierce demeanor in combat and her irritable nature. Nevertheless, beneath her battle-hardened exterior and temper, she possessed a surprising gentleness, characterized by a warm heart and a spirit of generosity. She is always concerned for Ed's well-being and loves his daughter Kira as if she were her own child.
In conversation, she was notably succinct, often choosing to express herself through her actions and combat prowess rather than through words, favoring directness over elaborate explanations. Physical affection, such as hugging, was not her style. Her outlook on life was rather pessimistic; she once remarked that she had attempted to adopt a positive attitude, but it did not suit her. Holga often believed that most challenges could be addressed through the magic of others, a perspective that frequently exasperated those skilled in the arcane arts, yet they typically managed to find a magical resolution regardless.
