The Hogwarts Staff are a group of characters featured in Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. They are the individuals who work in the Hogwarts Castle for the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, such as the headmaster, the professors and Argus Filch.
Voldemort once tried to became the teacher of the Defense Against the Dark Arts but cursed the position when Albus Dumbledore declined his resume, knowing Voldemort was up to no good
Most of the Hogwarts staff were loyal to Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter. They played major roles in defeating Voldemort in 1998. They subsequently continued working there long after the Battle of Hogwarts. Neville Longbottom became the herbology professor after Madame Sprout retired.
