Hikari Zhang is a character from the 2023 film, Teen Wolf: The Movie. She is Liam Dunbar's girlfriend and a Kitsune similar to Kira Yukimura. She aids the heroes of Beacon Hills on the returning threat of the Nogitsune and the Oni.

Because Arden Cho declined to appear in the movie after learning she wouldn't be paid as much as her other co-stars, Hikari was created instead. However, her addition was one of the many aspects of the film that faced controversy and criticism due to the character being way too similar to Kira. They are both Kitsune, who are the girlfriends of a werewolf (Scott and Liam) and both wield a mystical sword).
It also suggests that Kira may have been in the script but had to be replaced by a new character instead.
She is Liam's second serious relationship, after Hayden Romero. This also makes him similar to his alpha Scott, who also had a relationship with a werecreature (Malia the werecoyote) and a kitsune (Kira).
