Hermes is the Messenger of the Gods, son of Zeus and a minor character in the 2010 remake of Clash of the Titans.
Role in the Film[]
Hermes appears in the throne room to Zeus and informs his father of Perseus' existence and encourages Zeus to give the demigod sanctuary on Olympus. However, Zeus immediately rejects Perseus as his child, dismissing him as simply another one of the mortals.
Towards the end of the heroes' journey, Zeus later approaches Perseus and offers him sanctuary at Olympus as Hermes suggested. However, Perseus refuses because He would rather die a man with the honorable soldiers give their lives to save others than live forever as a god.
