Appearances

Background

Henry Hart was born in Swellview to Kris and Jacob Hart, with one younger sister named Piper. When he was five years old, Henry befriended Jasper Dunlop. They attended the same summer camp at one point. At the archery range, one of the bullies, Billy Brody started threatening Jasper. Henry came in to defend him, but both of them ended up beaten by him. Despite losing the fight, it made both Henry and Jasper become best friends. These were also early signs Henry had what it took to be a hero.

Sometime after this, the boys met Charlotte, who became their best friend. Henry was often bullied by Mitch Bilsky at school. However, he was also friends with many people. In junior high, he began dating Chloe Hartman, which stopped when he started working at Ray's shop.

Henry Danger

Season 1

The Danger Begins

Studying at home with his best friend Charlotte while Jasper plans for his birthday party. Searching for an after-school job, Henry meets Ray Manchester, who reveals himself to be Swellview's local superhero, Captain Man, and sees potential in Henry when he displays acts of bravery against one of Ray's employees, Boris, who pretends to be one of Captain Man's enemies. Ray hires Henry as his sidekick taking the pseudonym Kid Danger, and is given a costume, gear, and special gum that lets him switch between his Kid Danger costume and his regular clothes. The next night, Henry finds that he cannot help Ray in foiling the Toddler's plans to turn all of Swellview's babies into monsters because Jasper's party is the same night. However, Henry chooses to rescue Ray when he learns that as Captain Man, he is captured by the Toddler instead. Both Captain Man and Kid Danger fight off The Toddler's goons and Henry and Ray seemingly defeat the Toddler. After the victory, Henry goes over to Jasper's party, saving their friendship and asking Ray to make a small appearance. During the party, Henry soon had to leave for another mission.

Struggling with two worlds

However, despite getting a job he likes Henry soon begins to struggle with his life at home, school, and work. A mission as Kid Danger keeps him up all night and makes him fall asleep during his history test and miss out on a mission with Ray. To help Henry,  Ray has Goosh help him ace his history makeup test by inserting information about Puerto Rican History into Henry's head. From his many absences, his friend Charlotte gets suspicious.

She figures out that Henry is Kid Danger in the third episode, "The Secret Gets Out," leading Henry to be temporarily fired t by Ray until he and Charlotte capture the Phone Shark and give Captain Man the credit. Taken with this Ray takes Henry back and gives Charlotte a job.

Season 2

Danger & Thunder

In the Crossover Danger & Thunder, Kid Danger and Captain Man team up with Phoebe Thunderman (whom Henry has a crush on) and infiltrate a convention filled with Swellview's most dangerous criminals. However, Ray, Henry, and Phoebe are caught because Phoebe's brother Max Thunderman revealed them to the villains; Ray sends the children away for there are too many of them.   Phoebe and Henry regroup with the team and board a train to fight the villains. Of course, Charlotte fires a grenade at Ray, and a distraught Henry believes his mentor to be dead but Captain Man is revealed to be alive. The trio fight off the villains and offer Max and Phoebe a ride home, begrudgingly forgiving the former.

Season Finale

In the series finale of Season 2, Henry reveals to Jasper that he is Kid Danger after he reveals his second identity (In reality, Jasper was mad that Henry went to see Galaxy Wars 10 without him). Ray wants to erase Jasper's entire memory and Henry threatens to quit, causing Ray to let Jasper keep his brains if he keeps their secret.

Game Shakers

Henry appears in two episodes of the series. He first appears in "Babe Loves Danger," where he visits Babe on Valentine's Day, and "He's Back" (the finale of the third season and the series).

Personality

According to Ray, Henry is brave and everything he is looking for in a sidekick. Since his first day on the job, Henry has been very possessive of his job as Kid Danger. He is also caring, supportive, and friendly to his friends and family. He also showed early signs of heroism even as a child, such as trying to defend Jasper from a bully during summer camp. This incident made them best friends. He has a typical sibling relationship with Piper, often fighting with her but he can grow protective of her and gets offensive whenever someone is mean to her ("Spoiler Alert" for example). Henry loves Jasper like a brother but grows tired of Jasper's initial obsession with buckets. He is also willing to tolerate Piper's temper and sometimes, Ray's occasional moments of selfishness and immaturity, Henry hates being deceived or lied to. He was incredibly disappointed when Ray hid the fact that he had a sidekick, Drex, before him nine years before Season 3.

Henry is also very cocky, as the series goes on, and is aware that he is attractive but doesn't let that bother him. However, he also has a habit of misunderstanding Schwoz's speeches because of his heavy accent and often corrects him when Schwoz mispronounces words that would be hard to annunciate.

He is, indeed, incredibly selfless, willing to save anyone in Swellview, as when Ray was temporarily vulnerable to injury, Henry continued saving others. He would even sacrifice himself for his friends. In the finale, The Fate of Danger", he stays behind to stop a blimp from colliding with the city of Swellview, not willing to risk his friends' lives. Though not as popular as Captain Man, Henry is admired by all the denizens of Swellview, including the girls (who all have a crush on Kid Danger, including his sister). When Henry faked Kid Danger's death, citizens came to mourn him, the Vice Mayor had two statues built in honor of Kid Danger rather than a statue of both Kid Danger and Captain Man. Henry's enemies even respected him, for the Toddler, Dr. Minyak, and the Beekeeper appeared at his "funeral" in tears. Only his parents, sister, friends, and those who knew him as Kid Danger know Henry is still alive and well.

It is also shown that Ray misses Henry, hence why he wants him to continue being Kid Danger. When they are reunited in "Return of the Kid," Ray cannot help but hug him.

Powers

  • Force-Field Generation: After the Omega Weapon exploded, Henry (along with the members of Danger Force) gained superpowers. He can create a force-field barrier in a green manifest. He can block any attacks, as he was able to survive the collision. By Danger Force, Henry's force-field changed, being able to create a force-field sphere instead.

Former/Temporary Abilities

  • Indestructibility: Henry's first superpower he had for two days was indestructibility. Having received the power through the same process as Ray, he is invulnerable to all sorts of harm, including hits to the head and a cannonball blast. (However, in Henry's case, it had a side effect). He lost this power after he went through the Densitizer and Ray went through a molecular transducer to make Henry's side effects go away.
    • Fire Breath: A side effect of his indestructibility is Henry can breathe fire while laughing. He lost this power after his indestructibility was gone.
  • Hyper-motility/Super Fast Reflexes: Henry used to have the power to have super-speed reflexes and agility from breathing the fumes of a Black Shag Spider and a South African Bush lizard. However, he lost it when he was exposed to Schwoz's anti-virus serum.
    • Speed Fighting: Henry was able to fight at incredible speed due to his enhanced quickness and reaction time so much so it gave him enhanced strength to knock down Drex with his speed punches until he became indestructible.
    • Super Coordination: According to Schwoz, he has hand-eye and foot-eye coordination increased.

Abilities=

  • Master Hand to Hand combatant: Over the years, Henry has become skilled in mixed-martial arts. This is most likely from his combat training by Ray and becoming a well-fit fighter being Captain Man's sidekick.
  • Singing: During the musical episode, it is seen that Henry is a talented singer. Though this was under Frankini's musical machine, it does show Henry can sing.
    • Rapping: Henry excels at rapping, as he was able to rap and successfully and musically mind-warp both Nurse Cohort and Doctor Minyak. He was able to come up with rhymes on the spot and force the two supervillains to hut themselves with a frying pan, as Henry instructed them. He was assisted with Captain Man's help. Henry is later seen rapping to the beat of "Five Fingaz to the Face" (from Victorious in the episode) "A Finata of Death."

  • Despite no longer being a kid, Henry was called Kid Danger even when he was sixteen. • Even when Henry is in his civilian clothes, he sometimes wears colors red, blue, and silver, which are also colors in his previous Kid Danger uniform.
  • Ray, Charlotte, Jasper, Schwoz, Piper, Gooch, Bork, Laylani, Winnie, Brad, Gwen, Schwoz's cousin, the Game Shakers, Boris, Rick Twitler, Drex, Bigfoot, Danger Force, Lil Dynomite, and his parents Kris, and Jake are the only people who know Henry is Kid Danger.
    • Drex and Rick Twitler are one of the few villains to know this. At first, Rick lost his memory until his memory was returned in "Return of the Kid"
  • Henry got paid $9/hour when working at Junk'n'Stuff and as Kid Danger. (The Danger Begins)
