Hecate is a supporting character in the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles as a minor antagonist in Percy Jackson and the Olympians and a supporting protagonist in the sequel series The Heroes of Olympus. She is a third-generation of the Titaness, daughter of Asteria and Perses, the Greek goddess of Magic, the Mist, crossroads, necromancy, the night and the moon. She is also the former patron of Hazel Levesque and helped the Seven from the Prophecy of Seven defeat Gaea.
