Harriet Chin is a minor character in the TV series Danny Phantom debuting in "Bitter Reunions" and last appearing in "Million Dollar Ghost." Twenty years prior to the series, she was a student at the University of Madison - Wisconsin and was a classmate of Jack and Maddie and Vlad Masters and became a reporter for the Milwaukee Journal.

Background[]
Harriet Chin was a college classmate in the same class with Maddie, Jack and Vlad. However, she appeared to be friends with Maddie more than the other two boys (given that Harriet smiled good-naturedly after pointing out how Maddie and Jack married). For unknown reasons, Jack rudely called her "Harry Chin" during their college days and during their reunion at Vlad's mansion, she showed disdain at the nickname.
Bitter Reunion[]
A second encounter with Jack and Maddie from college at Vlad's reunion with paranormal activity inspired her to publish a story relating to Jack and Maddie's ghost hunting company. Unfortunately, after the reunion, Harriet was fired from her job.
The Million Dollar Ghost[]
It was revealed in her second appearance that she was a news reporter for Amity Park News after being fired from her job as a reporter for the Milwaukee Journal.
