"I never found the right band to join... so I started my own... with a few old friends... you want in?
~ Gwen Stacy
I couldn't save my best friend, Peter Parker, so now I save everyone else. And I don't do friends anymore, just to avoid any distractions.

Gwen with Miles Morales

Miles shows an immediate attraction for Gwen Stacy, even before learning she was a Spider-Woman From another Universe. When they first met at Visions Academy, Gwen was the only one who laughed at Miles' Einstein joke. He tried flirting with Gwen, only for his hand to get stuck in her hair due to his newfound spider powers. Unfortunately, the only way to remove his hand involved shaving half of Gwen's head. This made their relationship take a turn for the worse; however, she was the first one who noticed Miles had powers similar to hers. that Miles was bitten by a radioactive spider just like her.

The two met again when Gwen saved Miles and Peter Parker of Earth-616 and revealed herself as another variant of Spider-Man. If she had stayed longer in his universe, she would cease to exist. The two repaired their broken friendship after the incident. After Miles lost his uncle, Aaron at the hands of Kingpin, Gwen empathize with him over the loss of a loved one. For her, it was her best friend, Peter Parker, who she lost during a battle against him. At first refusing to let Miles help them, Miles and Gwen fought the supervillains dude by side, even sharing a fist bump with him. After the defeat of Kingpin, Gwen and Miles departed as friends. However, she didn't stay away for long and contacted Miles sometime after the battle was over, asking if he had the time to speak.

According to the creators, the relationship between miles and Gwen will be one of the main focuses of the film sequel, Across the Spider Verse. As seen in the preview of the sequel, Gwen revealed she missed him and wanted to hang out with Miles for a while.
