Gunmar the Black is the central antagonist of the Tales of Arcadia franchise.

He was the leader of the Gumm-Gumms (until he was reduced as the second-in-command by Morgana), the arch-enemy of Jim Lake Jr. and other Trollhunters, and the father of Bular.

He is voiced by Clancy Brown, who also portrayed many characters, such as Surtur from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Mr. Krabs from SpongeBob SquarePants, Ryder Azadi in Star Wars, Wade Eilling in the CW series The Flash.

Appearance

Gunmar was a very large, tall, and muscular troll with obsidian-black stone skin and an almost ape-like physique. He also has two bull like horns and an overbite that exposed his hands and sharp teeth. He also wears a black loincloth and has a tail. He had a thick, black mane that ran down his back, and one glowing blue eye to the left of his small troll nose, which he occasionally ignited. He lost his eye in a previous battle with the last person who was the warlord of the Gumm Gumms. His eye became one of the Triumbric stones that Jim used to fuel his amulet that give him access to the Eclipse Blade and Armor.

After revitalizing himself with the heartstone, Gunmar's eyes and the lining from his markings turn from blue to gold.
