Grimble is a minor protagonist in the Guardians of Ga'Hoole and the 2010 film adaptation, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. He was forced to become a part of the Pure Ones after they took his wife and his daughter Bess, hostage. He taught Gylfie and Soren how to fly and have the strength to find the Guardians.

History

Movie canon

Upon discovering his treachery, Nyra attacked and murdered Grimble in cold blood after stalling the Pure ones so Gylfie and Soren could escape.

Trivia

• Grimble is effectively Soren's and Gylfie's first mentor as he successfully taught them how to fly, with Lyze being the second.
