The Greasers are a group of juvenile delinquents who serve as the heroic faction of the 1967 novel The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton and its 1982 film and 1990 television series adaptation that serves as the book and film's sequel. They are rival gang of the Socs, who are completely opposite of the Greasers as a group of wealthy kids.
Greasers such as Ponyboy Curtis and his gang are the most prominent members.
