Grand Pabbie is a supporting character in the fourth season of Once Upon a Time. He is the leader of the Rock trolls, Kristoff's adoptive father, and a friend to both Elsa and Anna. He débuts in the first episode of the fourth season and is voiced by guest star John Rhys-Davies.
Grand Pabbie is based on the character of the same name from the Disney film, Frozen.
History[]
In the past, a young Queen Gerda visited Pabbie after her sister Ingrid accidentally killed their middle sister, Helga. She asked for Pabbie's help in erasing her subjects' memory of her other sisters, as well as anyone else who knew of the other princesses' existence, including the Duke of Weselton. Though he complied with her request, Pabbie warned Gerda that the truth will come out one day and magic that catastrophic could lead to a terrible price. He was the only one to know of their existence but was sworn to secrecy by the royal family.
