Gonzo is one of the two deuteragonists of Muppet Treasure Island. He is a highly fictionalized version of the Muppet of the same name. Gonzo is the best friend of Rizzo and Jim Hawkins, sharing the latter's love for adventure and has a tenancy to get into trouble.
