Goldberry is a supporting character in Tolkien's legendarium, first appearing in The Adventures of Tom Bombadil and a minor character in The Fellowship of the Ring.
Goldberry had been identified as a nature-spirit, said by Tom Bombadil to be a "River woman's daughter." She had long, yellow hair and her voice was beautiful, "as young and as ancient as spring, like the song of a glad water flowing down into the night from a bright morning in the hills."
In The Fellowship of the Ring, Goldberry hosted Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Meriadoc Brandybuck and Peregrin Took when her husband found them in the forest.
