Glinda Arduenna of the Uplands, born Galinda, also known as Glinda Upland, the Good Witch of the North, Glinda the Good, Lady of Chuffrey, simply known as Glinda the Good is the deuteragonist in novel Wicked, its musical and film adaptations. She also appears in the book's sequel, Son of a Witch, and Out of Oz by author Gregory Maguire. She was the best friend of Elphaba Thropp, the series' version of the Wicked Witch of the West).
In the 2024 and 2025 film adaptations, she is portrayed by Ariana Grande, who also portrays Cat Valentine in Victorious.

- Susan Hilferty, the costume designer for Wicked, explained there are 25 different kinds of sequins used on the bubble dress.
- The sequins on the bubble dress are all hand-sewn.
- The bubble dress was intended to appear like a wedding dress or every girl's fantasy of a princess outfit.
- There are 9 different fabrics used in the construction of the bubble dress.
- Ironically, Ariana Grande previously appeared in a parody sketch for the Wizard of Oz in the Victorious episode "April Fool's Blank," where Tori (Victoria Justice) was Glinda, Cat (Grande) was Dorothy and Jade West (Elizabeth Gillies) was the Wicked Witch.
