George Turner

Captain George Turner is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside Kim Sun-Yung) of The Karate Kid franchise.

He is a former captain officer of the United States Army, a former student of Kim Sun-yung, and was the commanding officer of Terry Silver and John Kreese during their time in the military during the Vietnam War.

Turner's abuse of Kreese, inadvertently instilled the "no mercy" mantra on Kreese, who used it on him when he let Turner fall to his death and when Kreese added it to the mantra when he  was founding Cobra Kai. Both his and Kim Sun-yung's actions pushed Terry Silver and John Kreese into the dark side, inadvertently kick-starting the series.
