George Darling is a supporting character in the 2003 adaptation of Peter Pan. He is the husband of Mary Darling, the father of Wendy, John and Michael Darling, the adopted father of the Lost Boys, and the maternal grandfather of Jane Darling.
Personality[]
George is known for his strict and hot temper that causes his children to fear him. Because of his hard nature, George doesn't believe in Peter Pan and believes it's time for Wendy to grow up.
After the children leave for Neverland, George blames himself for his children's disappearance. However, in the end, George doesn't really mean what he says. When his children return, George reconciles with them. Like his wife, adopted the Lost Boys' (except Slightly, who was adopted by Millicent) and he presumably becomes better.
As Peter Pan tradition, George is portrayed by Jason Isaacs, who also portrays Captain Hook in the film of the same name.
