The Geonosians were a buglike alien race from the Star Wars franchise. They hailed from the planet Geonosis. During the Clone Wars, they were allied with the Confederacy of Independent Systems and were the ones to secretly constructed the primary design for the Battle station known as the Death Star.
By the early days of the Rebellion, the race was nearly wiped out; however, one Geonosian Klik-Klak survived and was the guardian of a Geonosian Queen egg, which he hoped would one day preserve their race. He used a battalion of deactivated battle droids to protect it until he met the Spectres led by Hera Syndulla and befriended one of her crew members, Ezra Bridger.
