General Maximillian Veers is a supporting antagonist in the 1980 film Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, the second installment of the Original Trilogy. He was a general who served in the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War, taking part in the Battle of Hoth.

He was portrayed by Julian Glover.

Biography

Veers was born in Denon and was considered an imperial hero in the Galactic Empire, eventually reaching the rank of General.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

He took part in the Battle of Hoth, where he served under Darth Vader, Admiral Ozzel and Captain Piett. Veers led a team of AT-AT walkers on the battlefield but was critically injured by a Rogue Squadron snowspeeder crashed into his AT-AT's cockpit, destroying the walker, but ultimately survived and infiltrated Echo Base.
