Gamora is an anti-heroine from Marvel and the deuteragonist of its Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. She is the adoptive daughter of Thanos and the former love interest of Adam Warlock. She is the sole survivor of the Zen-whoberi race, destroyed by the Universal Church of Truth, worshippers of the Magus and the dark future version of Adam Warlock. Trained to be a deadly assassin, Gamora would want to repent for her past crimes and decided to become a vigilante and a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Gamora later left the team and became a vengeful vigilante known as Requiem after murdering Thanos (who told her she would be his own requiem after being felled). After folding the universe and combining her former friends, Gamora was defeated. Feeling remorseful for hurting her friends, they ultimately forgave her. She became a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy once more to prevent Thanos's resurrection.
