Galactus is the main antagonist ofthe 2007 film, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. He is a dimensional entity born from the universe itself. He takes the form of a cloud of cosmic energy that consumes the energy of other worlds. Galactus sends his Herald, Silver Surfer , in search of new worlds to consume in exchange for sparing the Surfer's homeworld. His attention is directed to Earth. The Surfer faces his master in space and releases the Cosmic Power Galactus gave him all at once, thus destroying him.
