Freddy Freeman is the deuteragonist of the 2019 film Shazam! and Shazam! Fury of the Gods! He is Billy Batson's foster brother and best friend and a member of the Shazam Family. By uttering the words "Shazam!" Freddy gains super powers drawn from the power of the Old Gods, becoming Shazam Jr. Though he uses a crutch, Freddy is very helpful in defeating Doctor Sivana and the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man. He is also a major super hero fan, especially Superman and the first to know his foster brother is the hero Shazam.
