Frederick "Fred" Benson was a recuring character in the fourth season of Stranger Things. He was a student at Hawkins High School, and worked on the school newspaper, along with Nancy Wheeler. Unfortunately, his survivor's guilt from a car accident that had taken the life of one of his friends left him vulnerable to Vecna, who claimed Fred as his second victim after Chrissy Cunningham.
