General Frances Ardmore is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside Charles Stringer) of the 2022 epic science-fiction film Avatar: The Way of the Water and will return with some capacity in its upcoming 2025 sequel Avatar 3.
She is a general of the RDA who is send to Pandora following Colonel Miles Quaritch's death and Parker Selfridge's failure in extracting the Unobtanium from the planet's wildlife.
Seeing a threat Jake and his Na'vi insurgency poses to human colonization on Pandora, and having been informed of the natives' capability and Sully's betrayal, she sends Quaritch, Wainfleet and SecOps to hunt down the Sully family and execute Sully for his betrayal. She assisted Parker Selfridge with turning all the fallen human soldiers into Avatar Recombinants.
