The Forbidden Five were the main antagonists of the first half of Season 3 of Dragons Rising. They were defeated by Egalt and Rontu and banished to the Nether-Space. After thousands of years, Lord Ras tried to free them during the Ritual of the Blood Moon, succeeding only in releasing Nokt while Rox's soul managed to escape and possess Jordana. After the final game of the Tournament of the Sources concluded, Nokt succeeded in freeing the rest of the Forbidden Five. They escaped through a portal gate to the Cloud Kingdom and destroyed it, which allowed them to enter a different realm where they could not be pursued so that they may regain their strength. After making a deal with Thunderfang, the Forbidden Five started their hunt for the Prismatic Blades to help free the Shatter Dragon, working alongside the Dragonian Warriors.
By doing this, the group aimed to gain the power they desire from Thunderfang, intending to unleash chaos across the Merged Lands. However, Thunderfang betrayed them and drained their souls. Following the destruction of Thunderfang, the dying Thunderfang breathed in their souls while Lloyd's was restored to his body and the rest moved on from the Merged Realms.
